PIRBOARD AL is a PIR insulation board faced with aluminium foil on both sides. The foil acts as a vapour barrier and also reduces radiant heat transfer.
The board size is 1200 x 2400 mm, and the thickness is available in ten options from 20 mm to 200 mm. The PIR core has a thermal conductivity of 0.022 W/mK and a fire class class of B-s1-d0.
It is chosen for air duct insulation, service and technical spaces, and applications where vapour transmission has to be controlled. The board is not load-bearing: in any application subject to loading, the load is carried not by the board but by the screed or slab above it.
