RENOBOARD 35 is a renovation board applied over an existing roof. The old covering is not removed; the board is laid directly on top of it.
This method has two consequences. The first is time: the stripping, debris removal and re-covering steps are eliminated. The second is continuity: the roof can be renewed without stopping the production or storage work beneath it.
The top facing is 1.20 mm homogeneous PVC and the board itself provides the waterproofing. The bottom facing is 0.08 mm H22 aluminium. The core is polyisocyanurate; its density is measured at 48-52 kg/m³ and its thermal conductivity at 0.022 W/mK.
The cover width is 1200 mm. The board is produced 1300 mm wide including a 100 mm overlap allowance; the overlap sits on top of the adjacent board. The length is between 3000 and 6000 mm and the core thickness is 35 mm. The top facing can also be supplied as TPO or PVC-EVA.
The boards are joined by hot-air welding of the PVC surface; no separate covering strip is used at the joint.
