RENOBOARD 20 is a renovation board applied over an existing roof. The old covering is not removed; the board is laid directly over it.

This method has two consequences. The first is time: the stripping, debris removal and re-covering steps are eliminated. The second is continuity: the renovation can be carried out without stopping the production or storage activity beneath the roof.

The upper facing is 1.20 mm homogeneous PVC and the board itself provides the waterproofing. The lower facing is 0.08 mm H22 aluminium. The core is polyisocyanurate; its density is 48-52 kg/m³ and its thermal conductivity is measured at 0.022 W/mK.

The cover width is 1200 mm. The board is produced 1300 mm wide including a 100 mm overlap allowance; the overlap sits on top of the adjacent board. The length ranges from 3000 to 6000 mm and the core thickness is 20 mm. The upper facing can also be supplied as TPO or PVC-EVA.

The boards are joined by hot-air welding of the PVC surface; no separate covering strip is used at the joint.
