NRP5 Rock Wool is the rock wool core version of the five-rib roof profile. The rib height is 37 mm and the fire class is A2-s1-d0; this profile is used on wide-span roofs where the regulations require A2.
The rock wool core has a thermal conductivity of 0.045 W/mK and is mineral based. The same insulation value is achieved with a thicker section than with a polyurethane core panel; the result of the section is read from the U-value calculation. The core density is in the 90-130 kg/m³ band, so the envelope is heavier and the load-bearing structure is calculated accordingly.
The envelope load comes from the panel weight calculation. Load tables for span and snow load are in the Library section.
