NKS 30 80/200 is a board produced for ventilation ducts running outdoors. The numbers indicate the aluminium thickness on the two faces: the aluminium on the outer face is noticeably thicker.
On surfaces exposed to UV, rainfall and mechanical impact, thin foil is not sufficient; rooftop runs and ducts routed outside the building are fabricated from this board. Thickness is 20 and 40 mm, and the board size is 1200 x 2400 mm.
The thermal conductivity of the PIR core is 0.022 W/mK and the fire class class is B-s1-d0. Outdoors, the thickness is selected one step above the indoor run; sealing the joints properly with aluminium tape is more decisive than the thickness selection.
