NRP7 PU is the polyurethane-cored version of the seven-rib roof profile. The rib height is 24 mm; as the number of ribs increases, the load is distributed across the surface at closer intervals and the panel behaves more rigidly against point loads.
The polyurethane core gives a thermal conductivity of 0.022 W/mK and the thickness goes up to 200 mm. This profile is used on wide-span industrial roofs, on buildings with maintenance traffic on the roof and in facilities with high insulation targets.
Purlin spacing and snow load are selected from the load table together with the thickness; the tables are in the Library section. The minimum pitch for a sandwich roof panel is 7%, and this rule is independent of the number of ribs.
