NRP5 PU is the polyurethane-core version of the five-rib roof profile and the most widely used roof panel in the catalogue. The rib height is 37 mm; with five ribs, the profile spans wider than the three-rib profile at the same thickness.
The thermal conductivity of the polyurethane core is 0.022 W/mK. The closed-cell structure does not absorb water and provides vapour resistance; both are required on the roofs of heated or cooled spaces. Thickness goes up to 200 mm, so there is no need to change profile in buildings with high insulation targets.
Purlin spacing, snow load and thickness are selected together from the load table; the tables are in the Library section. The panel is produced in a single piece up to 15.5 metres: when the roof run is covered without a joint, the weak point of the waterproofing is also removed.
