Flux 500 is a panel range 500 mm in height that forms the horizontal sections of sectional doors. The panels are joined to one another with hinges to form the door leaf, which folds parallel to the ceiling as the door opens.
The panel thickness is 42 mm; the thickness of the door leaf is limited by the mechanism and by weight, and at this section meaningful insulation depends on a core with low thermal conductivity. The core is produced as either PUR or PIR, with a thermal conductivity of 0.022 W/mK; the fire class is B-s1-d0 with a PIR core and B-s2-d0 with a PUR core.
The inner and outer surfaces carry an embossed pattern, and the edge profiles are produced in accordance with finger-trap safety standards. The 500 range adapts to intermediate door heights more flexibly than the 600 range; Nuhpanel supplies the panel to door manufacturers as a panel.
